Two Appearances Set ASC Trumpet Quartet Plans Prescott Clinic
The Lumberjack trumpet quartet will visit Prescott and Tucson for a trumpet clinic at the University of Arizona in Tucson on Saturday Jam 14. The clinic, sponsored by the Southern Arizona Music Educators Association, features an 80 member high school group from southern Arizona. They will perform for Frescell High School Band students Tuesday morning at 9 and hold a trumpet clinic during the day as well as Saturday evening concert at the Tucson music clinic. Former Flag Resident S J Cunningham Dies in Los Angeles
S J Cunningham 51 long time Flagstaff area resident died in Los Angeles after a lingering illness. Funeral services are set for Monday at St Peters Church. He worked for Riordan's Inc in Flagstaff and had been a representative for Royal Liverpool Insurance. Survived by wife Betty and son Jack, both in Los Angeles. He had left Flagstaff in 1959 and lived in Phoenix before moving to Los Angeles. He was a member of Flagstaff Bills Lodge No 498.
