Police said a Winslow couple died of carbon monoxide poisoning in Flagstaff during the holiday weekend. Detective Pascual Macias reported Clarence Irving, 24, and his wife Kinga Irving were found at 2721 N. Third St. after an out-of-town trip.

He alleges Archer’s safety precautions were insufficient and seeks 200000 general damages and 50000 exemplary damages.
Four individuals Larry A. Huch Manuel Vallejos Forrest E Johnson and Lynn F ilton were cited for disturbing the peace while preaching outside a department store. Victory Chapel spokesman said no loudspeaker was used and only one Santa Claus costume preacher spoke as others distributed literature. The incident occurred at Plaza Mall and the group was removed from K mart where a public address system had been used.

Former Attorney General John N. Mitchell left a federal prison camp on a medical furlough to seek evaluation for an arthritic hip. Mitchell cited severe hip pain and potential artificial hip surgery, with authorities saying security blocked a prison transfer for treatment.
