Bids Exceed Limit For County Medical Examiner Facility
Bids for the Coconino County medical examiner facility all came in over the $109,000 federal fund estimate. The low bid was 143,695 by Copperstate Construction Co. Architect Vince Hamant said plans allowed about 70 per square foot and warned only nickel and dime savings potential. The high bid reached 173,500 by Perry B. Wiggens Construction. The board will decide by Tuesday afternoon after reviewing possible deletions and sources to stretch funds.

Seventeen Missing After Madeira Plane Crash

College Plan May Be Released in February
