Police Log Reports Body Found Near Flagstaff

The body of an unidentified man aged about 20 to 25 was found hanging from a tree in a gully south of Flagstaff around 2 p.m. on Thursday. Investigators estimate the body had been there for months, with an autopsy to confirm death cause and aid in identifying the victim. Museum Sets Children's Program on Underwater Archaeology

The Museum of Northern Arizona will host a children's program this Saturday led by Dr. Charles Hoffman from Northern Arizona University. The event includes a film, slides, and lecture on underwater archaeology from Silver Springs Florida summers, with mammoth remains and prehistoric evidence. NAU Singers Open Yuletide With Olde English Christmas Feast

Nearly 200 singers from four NAU vocal groups performed for 300 guests in the South Campus Dining Hall in an Olde English Christmas Feast. Choral Director Millard Kinney led more than 30 carols as Madrigal, Shrine of Ages, and University Singers shared solos and ensembles with piano and harp accompaniments. A candlelit, sellout crowd applauded with a standing ovation after a two hour program ending with candlelit circle singing.
