Museum of Northern Arizona Dedicates Ethnology Wing
The Museum of Northern Arizona dedicated its ethnology wing with formal ceremonies and a twilight party for founder Dr. Marvin Colton’s 80th birthday. About 30 staff and donors attended, marking completion of the new facility as well as the building’s long history begun in 1934 during the Depression.

LeRoy Stewart of Tuba City Dies at 60
LeRoy Stewart died Tuesday morning in Tuba City hospital at age 60. He was born May 15, 1902 in Sledee Oklahoma and had lived in Tuba City for two years where he served as supervisor highway engineer for the Federal government. Survived by his wife Ruth of Tuba City and a daughter. Burial arrangements by Porter Funeral Home in Pawnee with Ganley and Sons local arrangements.
