Navajo leaders indicate they want to replace Angia traders with Indians within two years. The sentiment on the reservation favors education for Indian kids to boost opportunities to run enterprises, said Daniel Peaches, director of public affairs for the Navajos.
Clinton Donaldson a 78 year old retired sawmill worker died after being struck by a northbound car on N Humphreys Street. The vehicle driver James Brown 18 of 3407 N Childress Flagstaff was questioned and released. Donaldson’s death is Flagstaff’s first traffic fatality in more than a year. Funeral services set for Nativity Catholic Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife four sons and a daughter. Local mortuary arranging services and visiting hours scheduled.
