Eight Year Old Williams Girl Dies After Car Crash
An eight year old girl Sally Mae Hatten died from injuries after being struck by a car on Airport Road west of the rodeo grounds Saturday afternoon. Calvin Cooper III, 16, of Williams, drove the vehicle. no charges filed. She is survived by her parents and four siblings.

A 20 year old Los Angeles woman, Diana Glicksman, died in a two car head on collision five miles west of Hyde Park on U S 66. Six others were treated for minor injuries at Kingman hospital. The other vehicle was driven by Michael Burt Engelberg, 23, of Los Angeles, who crossed the centerline. Nearby Phoenix also saw three deaths in a two vehicle crash involving a truck a car and a house. The toll on U S 66 rose to 398 for 1961 with 43 deaths on Bloody 66.
