Girl Scouts At Canyon Complete Two-Week Trip
Girl Scout troop number one members returned from a two week outing near Prescott at Granite Dells. Under Sherman Payne they learned fire making wood gathering and camp cooking while sleeping on the ground in tents. They practiced swimming rowing and emergency drills with visits from leaders Mrs Brown and scout leader Mrs Brown. They camped again briefly at Manzaalta camp in Oak Creek Canyon on the way home.
