Secretary of State William Rogers met with two envoys in Washington on Wednesday as indications arose that the United States will approve the Berlin agreement. Kenneth Rush, U S ambassador to West Germany, flew in to brief Rogers and return to Germany later in the day after 17 months of negotiations with British French and Soviet ambassadors.

Maxwell Rites In Sedona
Sedona graveside services for Levi E. Maxwell, 80, who died at Marcus J. Lawrence Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Saturday at Sedona Memorial Park by the Masonic Lodge. Maxwell, born in Dubuque Iowa, was a longtime Arizona resident and former employee of Jean and Trax Photo Supplies in Flagstaff and manager of Twin Arrows Trading Post. He moved to Bridgeport near Cottonwood 10 months ago. Survivors include wife Edna two daughters Jean M. Troxell and Shirley M. Strahms, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
