ASC Opens Fall Semester at Avizom State College

Enrollment set at 1865 by Board of Regents estimates may rise by 50 to 100 students. Dormitories open Sunday night September 11. Freshman assembly Monday at 6 am in the auditorium with President Walkup and Dr. Virgil GilfEnwater presiding. Placement tests start Monday morning with English and other exams, followed by registration for freshmen and transfer students on Tuesday. Classes begin Thursday September 15.

Our Lady of Guadalupe School Opens Registration Aug 26

Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Flagstaff will begin registration and book distribution on August 26 behind the Hingstaff Armory. Classes start August 29 as pupils return to school alongside other Northern Arizona institutions. Sister Juanita will lead Guadalupe with two lay teachers arriving from the eastern United States. enrollment is expected near 250, up from last year’s 231. Books will be rented as usual.

APS Rehearing Rejected by ACC

Atty Gen Wade Church petition for rehearing into the Arizona Public Service gas rate case was denied by the State Corporation Commission.
