Bank Teller Misappropriation Case Moves Forward
Special Agent in Charge Boyle testified Leal misappropriated 1,830 dollars in a single day while employed at First National Bank. Leal, 15 months with the bank, was released last July and later transferred to the Flagstaff downtown branch. He allegedly shuffled funds to pocket them and remains jailed in Flagstaff awaiting transfer to Prescott for federal arraignment.

Teens Seize Yacht Then Plan Pacific Cruise
Two teenagers from Los Angeles stole a 45-foot yacht named Los Amigos at San Pedro harbor and sailed toward Honolulu with no money or food. Detectives, Coast Guard, and harbor patrol halted the vessel. the pair, Jan Hornsby and Geoff Chadwick, 16 and 15, were booked on suspicion of grand theft.
