Francis L. Decker aged 78 died this morning in Flagstaff Community Hospital after a brief illness. A Camp Verde resident for four years, he was born November 20, 1898 near Taylor and educated in Phoenix Flagstaff and NAU. He was a CPA, longtime civic worker, served on Flagstaff City Council and as justice of the peace, and held multiple professional and fraternal roles. Survivors include his wife Clarabelle, a daughter Betty Lou Cummings, a son John Decker, six grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.

Holgate in Stable Condition After Stroke in Florence
Earnest N. Holgate retired vice president of the First National Bank of Arizona is reported in stable condition at a Florence hospital after suffering a stroke. The 76 year old, retired in 1966 after 36 years with the bank, was admitted Saturday following a European trip with a tour group.
