NAU Receives NSF Grant for Science Teacher Development
Northern Arizona University earned a 48171 grant from the National Science Foundation to support the Summer and Academic Year Pre-College Teacher Development Project in the Sciences. The program aims to build a science teaching center, survey teachers’ needs, design graduate courses, and train about 30 local teachers in fieldwork and geology through NAU instructors and a Flagstaff team.

A Hawthorne man reported a wallet loss containing 128 dollars in cash and cards near East Santa Fe. Grace T. Sullivan, 56, of 1619 N. East St., Flagstaff, died in a one car crash about two miles west of Winslow on Interstate 4 Monday morning. The DPS said the eastbound car ran off the south shoulder, the driver overcorrected, and lost control.

Hospital Label Mixup May Have Caused Deaths
