Burial Rites Set For Mrs Emigene McCoy In Flagstaff
Funeral services for Mrs. Emigene McCoy, 42, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Flagstaff with Clyde Price conducting at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment follows at Citizens Cemetery. Born April 4, 1930, in Lubbock Texas, she was a Flagstaff resident, attended Flagstaff schools, and was a senior at Northern Arizona University at death. Survived by husband Lewis McCoy, daughter Dorothy Lively, two grandchildren Jay and Rachelle Lively, sister Dorothy Gerry of Studio City California, and other relatives. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers named. Flagstaff Mortuary in charge.

Extortion Suspect Captured After Car Pursuit in Phoenix
In Phoenix, a police chase ends when Detective George Kinney is knocked down but a partner holds onto the speeding car. Three suspects, driver Sittia Tuiner and couple Dene and Walter Belk, are jailed on extortion and weapon charges after the vehicle is halted and the transmission shifted to park. Investigators say about $223 was paid and another demand was imminent.

Dr. Peter A. Jacobs chair of Northern Arizona art forges his fourth Chicago area one man exhibit at Luther School of Theology through April. The 20 graphic prints on aluminum focus on ecological concerns like air and water pollution and overpopulation. Jacobs pioneered photo offset plates as a fine arts medium about five years ago and has since shown them from New York to Arizona.
