Recycled paper bill Approved by Assembly committee
Sacramento UPI reports a measure by Senator Anthony C. Beilenson to mandate all state and local agencies use recycled paper. The Environmental Quality Committee approved the bill on a mostly voice vote and sent it to Ways and Means. If recycled material is equal in quality and not more expensive, it would apply to local procurements.
