Calls from Irvington Threats to White House traced

Fremont police traced threatening calls from Irvington to the White House using a secret code. The first call came from a pay phone at Irvington High School at 3 p.m. Monday. A youth group near the booth saw no one. The caller claimed the president would be dead soon and provided a direct toll free number to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The Secret Service intercepted the call. the operator reported the number required special clearance. Two more similar calls were placed from other phones in the area.
