Newark Huskies Roll to 6-0 Victory Clinches Tie for Title
Washington held to no points after halftime as Newark built a 6-0 win behind Ricapito and Kane. Ricapito threw for two scores and ran for another as the Huskies clinched a North Coast Section playoff berth and secured a tie for the MVAL title. Kane caught two TDs, while Newark’s defense limited Washington to 21 yards rushing and stifled the Huskies in the final two quarters. Coach Klatt praised the team for adapting at the line and sealing the win despite early worries.
