Logan High Career Center Embraces Computer Guidance
At James Logan High School the career center draws crowds during lunch and after school as students use a new CVIS terminal. The CVIS system links to a regional Santa Clara district computer to offer vocational, education and college planning information. It provides occupation lists by education and interest, education plans after high school, apprenticeships, military options, two and four year colleges, and interview prep. It also covers academic subjects and language study, with Ribeiro guiding the program and Chabot College soon added.
