East Bay heroin ring broken with 12 arrests
A San Francisco narcotics investigation, aided by Oakland and San Jose police and Contra Costa County Strike Force, busted a heroin sales ring. Twelve suspects, six from South County, were arrested between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, with 30 pounds of heroin and $100,000 in cash seized. Ringleader Sotello identified.
