Lottery draft numbers set for April June rounds
The Selective Service System announced lottery numbers 1 through 18 will be drawn in April and May, with a possible increase in June to meet Army manpower needs. Officials expect about 6,000 consented recruits by end of May, still short of the 15,000 quota, while no drafts occurred in early 1971.
