Senator Muskie calls for Lyndon Johnson to testify at congressional hearings on Vietnam. He says the full story must come out now that The New York Times published secret Pentagon papers. Hollings defends the Times and accuses secrecy of hiding the truth. Hansen questions the newspaper’s right to publish classified documents.
