Fire hero Joey Bryant aids Newark Boulevard blaze
A 14 year old MacGregor School student and Argus carrier named Joey Bryant helped contain a house fire on Newark Boulevard last week. He phoned for help, shut off power after spotting an electrical fire, and reentered the home until firefighters arrived. The incident began around 3 am and the teen’s quick action was praised by his mother and local readers.
