Disgusted CIA spy resigns his job
MIAMI (UPI) A one year CIA veteran known as Mike Ackerman quit amid anger at politicians and journalists he says threaten the intelligence service. Ackerman, a native of New York City, said he worked on covert actions in 20 countries across four continents. He resigned May 30 after years as a street man in CIA’s clandestine services, citing a hostile political climate and a push for sensational headlines.
