New Haven district forms building nonprofit for schools
The New Haven school district’s nonprofit corporation elected officers led by S R Richards as president and planned bond sales for an $8.5 million project. Marvin Haun was hired to handle matters, Carlo Fowler to arrange bond sales, and James Chilton to market bonds. Bids for construction target fall with completion set for 1977 78. The group forms under state law and seeks tax exempt status.
