Sunol Valley Ladies Nine Hole Club Invitational heats up
The sixth annual Sunol Valley Ladies Nine Hole Golf Club Invitational saw over a dozen golfers tee off in blistering competition. Alice Athenour shot 32 to lead the front nine while Emma Miller posted 33 on the back nine to win. Lunch followed at 12 30 with a gambling themed game encouraging players to take a chance at Little Sunol. Guests included Val Velencia chairwoman Vi Hughes and Lila Haley. The next event is Aug 4 with the Jadoers invitational. the Nine Voters will return in November for Phyllis Elder Tournament.
