Driver Mark Lawrence Hauser, 15071 Alexandra Blvd, is in critical condition at Washington Hospital Fremont with a fractured right arm and leg and possible internal injuries. Passenger Joyce Perry, 5979 Beatty Street, is in serious condition at O'Connor Hospital San Jose with a head injury and multiple cuts. Patrolmen said no witnesses and the cause is undetermined.
Union City announces its largest ever landing parade set for noon August 9 starting at the intersection of E Streets and main street, moving to H Street then Fiesta Grounds at Memorial Park. A Pleasanton Fair Association float and parade horse units from Livermore Dublin and Pleasanton will join the procession.
