Diogenes fails in quest for honest woman
Dallas UPI report on Louis J. Hexter a 77 year old millionaire with UT and Harvard law roots who posted a hip weekly personal ad under the pseudonym Diogenes seeking a woman under 35. He hoped for a one to one relationship though mature in years and later admitted most responses were older than his target. He received over 200 replies and ended the search after meeting several women, remaining platonic with two, and noting the irony of his self described Diogenes persona and lifelong quest.
