Ohlone budget faces impounds and staff mix debate
Ohlone College contends with impounded funds under a 60 percent teaching share rule. Officials cite newer staff, part-time hires, and rising non classroom costs as factors obstructing compliance. Board plans additions of eight full time posts, while projecting $11.05 million budget with further cuts and a potential $950,000 savings for a possible 5.5 percent cost of living increase.
