Fireworks blamed in 85000 blaze at Fremont home
Firefighters battled a Fremont residence fire caused by a bottle rocket near 38323 Parkside Court yesterday afternoon. Estimated 85000 in damage. 90 percent of the furniture reportedly destroyed. Nearby authorities saw fireworks near the home prior to the blaze and the sole resident, Mrs. Matamoto, was in the backyard when it started.
