Flood waters pound Las Vegas leaving two dead
A flash flood swept across Las Vegas triggering at least 1 million dollars in damage and claiming two lives. The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings for Lake Mead recreational area near Nelson's Landing, as storms and high winds forecasted. Rescue crews found Mike Williams, 39, and Richard Hawkins, 24, amid wreckage as floodwaters washed away hundreds of cars and damaged the Flamingo hotel convention center.
