Nixon bill to White House eight months after intro

A Senate version of a foreign aid bill totals just over 15 billion dollars in economic aid and 950 million in military aid. The House proposal adds 545 million for Phantom jet fighters for Nationalist China and earmarks 50 million for South Korea. Fulbright denounces the amendments as fringe lobbying by foreign interests and foreign governments. He opposes the Korea funds though the bill already includes larger military aid for Korea.
