Shackled suspect silent at Olean High School arson murder arraignment
A 17 or 18 year old high school senior described as quiet and outstanding was arraigned on three counts of second degree murder after a shooting spree at Olean High School. He remained silent as authorities described a barricaded room siege, a sniper rifle, and multiple casualties including a janitor, a gas company employee, and a driver. Police said he was captured after a tear gas charge and a window shot. The case was bound for a grand jury with a preliminary hearing set.
