Mack Truck to lay off workers in Hagerstown plant

Mack Truck Co the region's largest employer announced 2000 production workers at its Hagerstown Maryland plant would be temporarily laid off due to shutdowns at two assembly plants. Layoffs start Thursday run through March 7 with 1000 workers remaining. Plants in Allentown Pennsylvania and Hayward were also slated for closures for varying times.
