She is a 1962 James Logan High School alumna and legal secretary. she serves as secretary of the Santa Clara County Legal Secretaries Association. Lane, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert D. Lane, is a Bryant and Stratton College of Commerce graduate.
The 1971 Girl Scout Cookie Sale begins Friday with Newark association members going door to door. Proceeds aid individual troops and the Girl Scout Bay Area Council. Jan Crocker, publicity officer, notes the Newark troop that sells the most cookies from February 2 to March 15 wins a free weekend at a troop camp unit of their choice.
Miss Connie Yasuhiro of Fremont and Jon Hatakeyama of Fresno announce an August 22 wedding. The ceremony will be at the Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church in Union City at 2 PM. The bride, a 1967 Tennyson High alumna, graduates from California State College Hayward next month. the groom is in his third year at UC San Francisco School of Dentistry and affiliated with Psi Omega.
