Quakes Rock California From Oroville To Palm Springs

A sequence of earthquakes rattled most of California from Oroville near the dam to Palm Springs, with the strongest quake near Oroville measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale. Shaking disrupted window glass and buildings, injured several, and was felt from San Francisco to Carson City as residents reported swinging plants and swaying rooms.

Teen wolf pack members sentenced to state prison

Four teen members of an alleged East Oakland wolf pack were sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty to 57 felony counts. The group, part of a 24 member gang, terrorized elderly pensioners during a six day crime spree, breaking in with weapons and targeting those in their 70s and 80s.
