Old Centerville Church Preserves Quiet Amid Bustling Fremont
The Centerville Presbyterian Church at 37213 Fremont Blvd stands as a century-old landmark in a busy commercial district. Built after an 1859 meeting in the J. M. Florner School, the white wood structure replaced an 1863 brick building on the same foundation. The site houses a cemetery with legible names like Eggers, Blacow and Bruell, and is now used by the Koinenians college-age group while preserving its historical status.
