Fourteenth Annual Ohlone Ball Prepares With Moonlight Theme
The fourth annual President's Invitational Ball by the Ohlone College Foundation launches with private cocktail parties in Newark and Fremont to set the mood for a dinner dance at Sunol Valley Golf Course next Saturday. Hosts include Ronald H. Oliphant and co chairs Mrs. John A. McConnell, with many local residents listed as weekend hosts in Newark and Fremont. Recipes shared by Mrs. Kenneth Foster feature miniature Cornish pasties tied to a Grass Valley reunion find, plus tiny cream puffs with shrimp and an avocado dip with raw vegetables for serving at the preball events.
