Mayor Balentine proves comeback bid in wary campaign
Balentine says he spent little on his campaign and received a check from Washington Township Industries which he plans to donate in Second Chance Inc. He ran a telephone appeal to supporters and earned 2,214 votes to Kincaid's 5,218. The council seat left open may be filled by appointment or a new election, with debate over whether the runner up should be chosen.
