Beaver cow chip throw to draw crowd and politicians
Beaver Oklahoma hosts the second annual World Championship Cow Chip Throwing Contest on April 24 with 2087 residents expecting 5000 to 6000 spectators and 100 entries. Promoters target a clash between Governor Bartlett and Governor Hall, with politicians competing in a special class while spectators recall last year’s chaos and record throw.
