In Hartford a visitor named Dean Schooler found a giant egg measuring 9 inches around the long axis and 8 inches across. Inside the shell lay another perfectly formed egg, making the find a remarkable oddity.

Boat Ride At Waverly Ends Safe but Unusual Scene

Two boys from the Fitch family in Gb Thomas Fitch area piloted an unusual motor boat towed by a trailer in a cornfield at speed. The trailer detached as the boat entered the field, causing the craft to hurtle through the corn. No injuries were reported.
