Eureka Eagles 4-H Club Holds October Meeting

The Eureka Eagles 4-H club met at the Eureka center school house with thirteen members and five visitors. Richard Zanders joined as a new member and plans for an upcoming skating party were made. A Farm Bureau meeting occurred at the same time, with Edward Darrow re elected township director and Lewis Steele named alternate. Dick Kerr spoke on Farm Bureau activities and Walter Gerdes discussed 4 H youth programs. Ice cream cookies and coffee were served.

Dressler attends Drake University with Des Moines trip

Mrs Eric Osen hosted a small party at North Chestnut Street home in honor of her niece Evangeline Dressler who left last week for Des Moines to attend Drake University. Ed Bell and wife of Des Moines visited Anita relatives Sunday. Ed Bell works as a cashier at a Bolton and Hay cafe in Des Moines.
