Anita area notes a busy week of events and elections
July 30 election in Anita to grant Weatlowa Telephone Co. authority to operate a 20 year telephone system in town with poles and wires. Earlier July 16 1964 a Rock Island truck damaged a light pole and bank awning. Other items include hangar work at Anita airport and a Rock Island Rocket mail service end.
