Anna Fredericksen 72 died at 7:15 Sunday evening at her daughter Mrs. C. A. Pool’s West Main Street home after eight days of heart trouble. Born Anna Nelsen in Copenhagen May 5 1863 she came to the United States at 18, marrying Fred Fredericksen in 1886. Survived by six children and four grandchildren, funeral at Des Moines with burial in Laur al Hill cemetery.

Funds Raised For State Park South of Lewis
The Cass county drive for Crystal Lake state park near Lewis and Twowis ended in victory with Atlantic city council adding 800 dollars on Friday night. The 60 acre tract will cost 6000 dollars, D W Woodward contributing 1000. County supervisors pledged 7000 toward the park nucleus and local subscriptions completed the balance. The effort was led by Cass county chapter of the Walton League with Swan Harold Champion and family among supporters visiting Atlantic.

The couple visited Paris after London and described delegates from twenty five nations, a flag pageant, and calls for international peace. Becker notes sums spent on royal anniversaries and weather conditions, and plans to return aboard the Georgic from Le Havre on August 21.
