Miss Ruby Miller daughter of Otto Miller of Anita married Stanley Anderson son of Max Anderson of Brayton at the Presbyterian church in Omaha. Rev Francis Belate officiated. Bride wore pink with an arm bouquet of white carnations. Attendants wore pink and rose carnations. Mrs Anderson a former Anita High School graduate taught in Elk Horn High and later worked for Mutual Benefit Insurance. Escapes Serious Injury in Farm Ditch Accident
Cloyd Karns of Berea vicinity escaped serious injury last week when a hayrack loaded with corn cobs on a tractor overturned pinning him in a ditch. Neighbor Isaac Brown found him after an hour. Karns suffered a severely sprained wrist and avoided suffocation by lifting his face and freeing his hands.
