Holy Cross Lutheran Church announces Sunday worship at 8:30 and 10:45 AM with Sunday School at 9:45 AM and a sermon series on the Beatitudes titled The Preaching of Christ based on Matthew 5:1-2. A Walther League meeting is set for Monday at 7:30 PM. Elders plan a Pastor and members welcome.

Mrs Elsie Kopp hosted a dinner party for her mother Merz Prays birthday as a lively community show titled Eaks It OFF looms at the high school auditorium under VEW sponsorship. Anita prepares free movies at Concert Park, teen dances at VFW hall, and summer plans unfold with church and school activities.
