Edith Pilmer of Cass County Dies at 19
Edith Pilmer was born April 6, 1895 in Lincoln township Cass County Iowa and died May 21 1914 at her home near Gilmer Nebraska aged 19 years 1 month and 15 days. She lived with her parents until December 1911 when the family moved to Nebraska seeking health relief but improvement was temporary. She had a sunny disposition and cheerful temperament and was beloved by all who met her. The remains were moved to Anita for burial in Evergreen cemetery after funeral services at the Methodist church conducted by Rev. Robert W. Swick.
