Anita Church of Christ marks 60th anniversary

The Anita Church of Christ observed its 60th anniversary on Sunday May 4 with 64 at the noon dinner and 140 registering in the afternoon. The program featured Rev Mayo Proctor’s message, a history by Mrs Anita Witte, a gift presentation by Mrs George Smither and multiple musical numbers. A miniature replica of the church was displayed,Created by Ida Fallack and Carol Phillips from seven large cakes. Attendees from out of town included William H Pollock Myrtle Snyder and many others from Atlantic Omaha Woodward Winterset Griswold Stuart Stuart and Long Beach California.
