The notice lists church activities for multiple congregations. Clarence Osen and J. Milton Kinney are cited as superintendent and pastor. WSCS circles meet on specified Thursdays, chairs rehearsals and youth groups run on set evenings, and worship times appear for Methodist and Catholic churches with masses and Bible study listed.
Massena churches announce worship at 9:30 A M and 9:00 A M services with Sunday school at 10:00 A M. Bible study and prayer meet Thursdays at 8:00 P M plus Vacation Bible School June 1 to June 2 9 A M to 2 30 P M daily. Confirmation class Saturday at 1 15 P M Walther League Monday 7 30 P M.
Sunday school at 10:00 then 11:00 church service. Junior LPF at 6:30. Thursday afternoon Women s Fellowship and Cooky Day announced by minister R K Derry.
Forty years ago Ev Carane endured a runaway after his horse startled by a car near the Slater residence. Burk’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin Co. planned an Anita exhibit. Mr and Mrs Lee Hubbell moved into the Wagner property. Mrs H Booth offered sewing services. Mr and Mrs Ernest Smith welcomed a baby girl. George Dickson sold early Ohio potatoes at 65 cents per bushel. Anita sought more residence houses.

Christian Science Church announces the May 17 lesson sermon on Mortals and Immortals across all Churches of Christ Scientist. The golden text is Romans 8 6 to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Afton Smit of the State University of Iowa Child Welfare Research Station discusses a film titled Preface To a Life. The film shows Michael, a young child, torn between his mother's overprotective devotion and his father's stern ideals, revealing his inner confusions and joys through facial expressions. Mrs Howard E Campbell hosted a bridge club at her home the prior Wednesday afternoon. Dr J M Soper rented a house at Third and Cherry streets. his family would move there, with Mrs Roscoe Turner and others.
Twenty years ago Miss Adria Moon daughter of Rev and Mrs R O Moon of St Louis Michigan married Raymond Lantz son of Mr and Mrs R H Lantz of Anita. The ceremony took place at high noon in the bride's parents home. The Anita high school class of 1933 had graduates named Margaret Black Raymond Barber Russell Bangham Margaret Biggs Evelyn Darrow Wintha Deeming Arnold Dressler eth Harry LeVay Jewett Nellie Knowlton Ronald Linderman Fred Miller Ida Miller James Nelson Robert Osen Rey Parker Virgil Petersen Edward Ruggles Donald Rhoads Marie Suiter and Eu prolonged text continues with more names.
