At Monday night’s city council meeting Anita voters directed water be provided free to the man who will equip and operate a street sprinkler during the summer. The move advances the sprinkler project as a summer aid for streets.

Visits in Hopkins Missouri Doings and Hospital Visit
Mrs Lena Snyder drove to Hopkins Missouri last week to visit her daughter Mrs Harvey Hostenp and family. Mr Hooker is in an Omaha Hospital for observation. While in Hopkins Mrs Snyder took a neighbor of the Hoikers Bill Vore to the hospital. He dropped a screwdriver in his eye and underwent immediate surgery.
