Forty years ago Lincoln and Massena townships were struck by a Sunday tornado causing damage to homes owned by Harry Garside Charles Dressler James D Edgar Frank J Joy Sophia Crow H Stone and Mrs Louis Borth. The Baptist church in Massena also sustained damage. Mrs G M M Adair planned a visit to her brother-in-law and sister Mr and Mrs Heriman Gotch in Manning.
